Ibon Amatriain is one of the best, if not the best, European big-wave surfers of the last two decades. His calm approach to surfing is also a help to the "Sensei", as he is called by friends, during training. From yoga to rides on the Amatriain Surfskate, everything is included to improve his paddle power and surf skills.
The movement on the YOW board is so similar to that on a surfboard that it acts as a surf trainer, as you directly learn the posture and weight shift required for surfing. Ibon uses the board as a surfing coach in addition to his yoga training.
The wide rotation of the front truck allows extremely tight turns. The latest generation YOW Spring V4 (S5) Surfskate System is designed for riders over 50 kg bodyweight and comes with a 5 mm spring to give you an incredible surf feel on the street.
The trucks and wheels are perfectly adjusted to the board. The soft wheels provide the best grip and speed, even on rough surfaces. The deck comes in a proven maple wood construction.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.
