The drop-down shape utilizes a downward curve between the trucks to lower the rider’s platform. However, unlike drop-through longboards, a drop-down is a top-mounted truck design. This combination of features makes our drop-down shapes equally adept at downhill and freeride longboarding.
This is the most common type of truck mounting. The trucks are attached to the bottom of the deck with screws, so they are always beneath the rider's feet. Great for overall maneuverability
Complete Drop Down Longboard is designed to provide the rider with a lower center of gravity since the foot platform sits lower than the trucks. With no flex, the Drop Down is capable of achieving high speed and is perfect for Downhill riding.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.
