Shark Wheel Blurred Lines Street 8.125" Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is an 8.125" deck a good choice if I want more control than an 8.0 without feeling too wide?
Yes, 8.125" is a popular middle-ground size for street and park riding. It gives a little more landing room and stability, which can help when you’re learning tricks or riding rougher pavement.
What kind of riding is this board shape best suited for?
It’s best for street skating, park laps, and quick urban cruising. The 7-ply maple build and light concave are geared toward responsive flick, stable footing, and confident board feel.
How does it feel underfoot compared with a wider, more cruiser-style deck?
It should feel quicker and more nimble, with easier direction changes and less bulk. If you want a board that reacts fast for tricks and tighter spaces, this size is the better fit.
Would this work well for a first-time buyer who wants to progress fast?
Yes, it’s a solid pick for a newer rider who wants a stable platform without going oversized. The 8.125" width can make ollies, landings, and foot placement feel a bit more forgiving.
Why choose this deck instead of a cheaper basic option?
You’re paying for a proven 7-ply maple deck with a branded Shark Wheel graphic and a size that many riders trust. That usually means more predictable pop and a cleaner all-around street feel.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
