Product Description
Jor Ros grew up moving back and forth between Mexico and the U.S. and would spend his free time making up characters and creating fictional universes though his drawings.
Today, the Barcelona-based artist has developed a portfolio of digital illustrations that imagine the contemporary urban samurai warrior, borrowing the motifs and aesthetic hallmarks of traditional Japanese folklore and American cartoons through a warm, eye grabbing palette.
We’re stoked to introduce Jor as our latest featured Artist, and bring some unique Far East style to Sector 9’s West Coast craftsmanship.

Sector 9 Chop Hop Noh 30.5" Cruiser Longboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this a good choice for neighborhood cruising and campus hopping?
Yes, it is built for short-to-medium urban rides where easy turning and quick direction changes matter. The 30.5" length keeps it compact, so it is easier to carry between classes or stops than a full-size board.
How stable does it feel for a smaller cruiser?
It should feel steady for everyday cruising, thanks to the 7-ply maple deck and reverse kingpin truck setup. You get a more planted feel than a tiny mini cruiser without the bulk of a full-length longboard.
Would this work for a beginner who wants a first cruiser?
Yes, if the goal is learning basic pushing, carving, and street cruising, it is a friendly option. The shorter length and smooth-turning setup help new riders build confidence without feeling unwieldy.
What kind of ride should I expect compared with a longer commuter board?
Expect quicker handling and easier portability, but less top-end stability and less room for long pushing sessions. It makes more sense if you value maneuverability over covering big distances fast.
Is the size practical for carrying around all day?
Yes, the 30.5" length is easy to tuck under an arm, store in a locker, or bring into a shop. That compact footprint is a real advantage if you ride between errands, classes, or the beach.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
