Punked Pintail Longboard Deck - Countdown - Key Questions Answered
Is this pintail deck a good choice for relaxed cruising and carving?
Yes—it’s built for smooth cruising and easy carving, not aggressive tricks. The pintail shape gives a classic longboard feel, while the lower drop-through style helps it feel calm and predictable on rolling paths.
Would this work well for a beginner who wants more balance and confidence?
Yes, especially if you want a steadier ride than a higher platform. The lower ride height can make pushing, foot-braking, and balance practice feel less intimidating on longer rides.
How does it ride compared with a shorter board or a more trick-focused shape?
It feels more stable and smoother in turns than a shorter, snappier board. That makes it better for flowing commutes, park paths, and neighborhood cruising than quick, technical riding.
What kind of rider gets the most value from this deck?
Riders who want a dependable carving deck without paying premium-deck prices. It suits casual commuters and weekend cruisers who care more about comfort and control than flashy features.
What should I expect from the sizing and feel on longer rides?
Expect a stable foot platform that makes it easier to settle into your stance on longer runs. The pintail shape and drop-through layout are a strong fit for relaxed miles on boardwalks, campuses, and neighborhood streets.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
