Product Description
This awesome Prism Theory reminds us that barriers can always be pushed, whether it's while riding the skateboard or the curves we press into them.
On the Theory V2 we use an updated epoxy with 2 layers of fiberglass for ideal stiffness and increased strength. We are continuing to use the rocker and wheel flares that create the illusion of a dropped platform, as well as the same radial concave and mild W-concave to keep your feet planted.
This board is great for riders who are looking for a downhill/freeride board with lots of features. For such a complex concave, the Theory is one of the more comfortable boards out there.

Prism Theory V2 36" Top Mount Longboard Deck - Key Questions Answered
What kind of rider is this 36" longboard best for?
It suits riders who want a stable cruiser with enough control for freeride practice. The 36" length is a good middle ground for campus paths, city routes, and learning to link turns without feeling oversized.
Is this a good choice if I'm still getting comfortable on a longboard?
Yes, if you want a board that feels predictable instead of twitchy. The 7-ply maple deck and reverse kingpin setup help keep the ride steady while you build confidence at moderate speed.
How does it feel compared with a shorter cruiser?
It feels more planted and less nervous than a shorter board, especially when carving or checking speed. You give up a little quickness in tight spaces, but gain a calmer ride for everyday use.
Would this work well for commuting across campus or through town?
Yes, it works well for daily point-to-point riding where smooth turns and stability matter. The 36" length is still manageable to carry, while giving you a more confident ride than many compact cruisers.
What should I expect if I want to practice slides later on?
Expect a board that is more forgiving for controlled freeride than a pure cruiser. The Theory V2’s surfy truck feel and supportive maple deck make it a solid step toward speed checks and entry-level slides.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
