Plan B Sheckler Elevate 7.75" Skateboard Deck - Key Questions Answered
What kind of skater is a 7.75" deck like this best for?
It suits street skaters who want quicker foot response and easy flicks for flip tricks. The narrower 7.75" width makes technical skating feel more agile than a wider setup.
Is this a good choice for a first deck or a teen skater?
Yes, if they want a board that feels manageable and not overly wide. The 7.75" size is approachable for learning ollies, kickflips, and basic street control.
How does it ride compared with an 8.0" deck?
A 7.75" deck usually feels faster edge to edge and easier to flip. An 8.0" can feel a bit more stable, so this is the better pick if trick response matters more.
What should I expect from the feel of the maple 7-ply construction?
Expect the classic skate feel: snappy pop, predictable flex, and a solid platform underfoot. That makes it a dependable choice for daily sessions and repeated trick practice.
Would this work well as a replacement for an older street deck?
Yes, it’s a straightforward upgrade if your current board has lost pop or feels worn out. The Ryan Sheckler pro model gives you a proven shape without paying for specialty construction.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
