Paris V2 180mm 50º Raw Longboard Trucks | set of 2 - Key Questions Answered
What kind of riding is a 180mm, 50° truck set best for?
It’s best for cruising, carving, and city riding where easy turning matters. The 50° geometry gives a lively feel without losing the planted control most riders want at everyday speeds.
Is this a good choice for a newer longboard rider?
Yes, if you want a predictable truck that still turns easily. The Paris V2 50° setup is a common all-around choice, so it feels approachable without being overly twitchy.
How does it feel compared with lower-angle trucks?
It feels more responsive and easier to carve than a lower-angle truck. You get quicker lean for weaving through streets, while the 180mm width helps keep the board steady.
Will 180mm trucks work well for my everyday longboard?
They fit many standard longboard decks well and are a practical match for commuting or casual cruising. If you want a familiar, versatile width, 180mm is a safe place to start.
What do I gain by choosing these over cheaper trucks?
You get a more refined, consistent turn feel from a proven longboard brand. That usually means less guesswork and a setup that feels dialed for everyday riding right away.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
