Paris Street 108mm Matte Black/Raw Skateboard Trucks | set of 2 - Key Questions Answered
What kind of rider is a 108mm street truck best for?
It’s best for riders who want a compact, quick-turning feel for city cruising, carving, and weaving through tight spaces. The narrower 108mm hanger makes the board feel more nimble than a wider longboard truck.
Is this a good choice for a narrow deck or small commuter build?
Yes, 108mm trucks are a strong match for narrower decks and lighter commuter setups. They keep the board feeling responsive without the wide, sluggish steering of larger trucks.
How does the ride feel compared with 180mm trucks?
Expect quicker edge-to-edge response and easier turning with less high-speed stability than 180mm trucks. That tradeoff is useful if you value control in traffic and tight turns over extra width.
Would this work for a first-time buyer building a cruiser?
Yes, if you want a predictable, easy-to-understand turning feel for casual riding. Paris Street geometry is aimed at controlled carving, which helps new riders feel confident in everyday use.
What is the main benefit of choosing the matte black raw finish?
The matte black raw finish gives the trucks a clean, low-profile look that fits most custom builds. It’s a simple visual match if you want your hardware to blend in rather than stand out.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
