Product Description
The Marty shape is based off the Marty McFly Madrid x Valterra Skateboard that Madrid made in 1985 for the classic sci-fi film, Back to the Future.
The Madrid Marty Fusion 29" Old School Longboard looks like you can travel to the future in it, just as Marty McFly first did in 1985. Well, almost 40 years later, Madrid does it again for you, so you can enjoy this wonderful and unique board.
At 9.5” wide with a mellow concave and wheel wells, this board is a flashback to the ‘80s pool skating days. The ‘Fusion’ graphic on top and bottom adds a modern twist to this classic deck.

Madrid Marty Fusion 29" Old School Skateboard Longboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this a good choice if I want a small cruiser that still feels stable?
Yes. The 29-inch old-school shape is compact, but the wider, classic platform is meant to feel planted for cruising and mellow carving. It suits riders who want easy handling without the twitchy feel of a tiny board.
What kind of riding is it best for?
It’s best for relaxed cruising, campus riding, beach paths, and short errand runs. The focus is smooth rolling and easy steering, not speed-focused downhill riding.
How does it feel for a beginner learning to push and turn?
It should feel predictable and confidence-building. The shorter length makes it easy to manage, while the cruiser-style geometry helps new riders practice balance, carving, and basic foot placement.
Would this work better for commuting than a larger longboard?
For short daily trips, often yes. The 29-inch size is easier to carry and store than a full-size longboard, while still giving you a settled ride for low-stress travel.
How does it compare with a very small mini cruiser?
It usually feels more stable and less cramped than a tiny mini cruiser. That extra planted feel can make a big difference if you want easy control instead of a super playful, quick-turn setup.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.
