KFD Young Gunz Flagship in Black 7.75" Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this a good size for learning street tricks without feeling too bulky?
Yes, the 7.75" width is a classic choice for quick flips and easier board control. It gives newer skaters a more manageable feel for ollies, shuvits, and early kickflips.
What kind of skating is this board best suited for?
It is best for street and park skating, especially if you want a setup that can handle ramps, ledges, and flatground practice. The shape favors responsive turning over extra cruising comfort.
How does a 7.75" board feel compared with a wider 8.0" setup?
A 7.75" board feels quicker and easier to flick, while an 8.0" usually gives a little more landing stability. If you want nimble control more than a bigger stance, this size makes sense.
Would this work well for a smaller rider or someone with smaller shoes?
Yes, this width is often a strong fit for smaller riders because it feels less wide underfoot and easier to control. That can make learning tricks feel less awkward at first.
What should I expect from the ride feel when skating around campus or the neighborhood?
Expect a light, responsive feel that is easy to push, turn, and carry short distances. It is a practical choice if you want something trick-focused that still feels manageable for everyday rides.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
