Habitat Pod Navy 7.75" Complete Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is a 7.75" board a good choice if I'm just getting into street skating?
Yes, 7.75" is a versatile width for learning because it feels easier to control than wider setups. It gives you a stable platform without feeling clumsy when you're trying ollies, turning, or basic park lines.
What kind of rider is this setup best suited for?
It's a strong fit for teens and adults who want a nimble all-around board for street, park, and casual cruising. The 7.75" size works well if you want something responsive for tighter spaces and trick progression.
How does it feel compared with a wider skateboard?
It feels quicker to steer and easier to flick than a wider deck. If you want more board control for learning tricks and navigating sidewalks or skateparks, this size is the easier pick.
Would this work for campus riding and short daily trips?
Yes, it works well for short commutes, campus paths, and neighborhood cruising. The smaller width makes it simple to carry and maneuver when you are hopping on and off often.
What should I expect from a Habitat board at this price?
You can expect a reputable skate brand and a balanced setup that feels more predictable than bargain-store options. It's a practical middle-ground if you want solid performance without jumping to a custom build.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
