Grizzly G64 Natural 8.0" Complete Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is an 8.0" board a good choice for learning tricks and cruising around?
Yes, 8.0" is a strong middle-ground width for control and stability without feeling bulky. It helps new riders learn ollies, kickturns, and basic transition riding while still feeling nimble on neighborhood pavement.
What should I expect from the ride feel on this setup?
Expect a balanced, predictable feel with enough stability for carving and enough response for basic tricks. The Grizzly trucks and wheels are matched to work together, which helps the board feel smooth over rougher ground.
Would this work well for a first-time buyer who wants one board for different uses?
Yes, it suits a first board if you want something that can handle learning, cruising, and casual skate sessions. It gives a confidence-building platform without pushing you into a narrow specialist setup.
How does it compare with cheaper beginner skateboards?
It should feel more consistent and controlled than many low-cost completes that can be poorly matched or loose out of the box. The tradeoff is that advanced riders may outgrow it sooner as their speed and impact increase.
Is this a sensible size for campus riding and short everyday trips?
Yes, the 8.0" shape is easy to manage for short commutes and getting around campus. It offers enough stability for pushing and carving while staying compact enough for quick directional changes.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
