Goldcoast Strokes 37.75" Pintail Longboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this a good choice for a first longboard?
Yes, it suits first-time riders who want a stable, predictable feel without a twitchy deck. The 37.75" pintail shape and reverse kingpin trucks make learning balance and carving feel more natural.
What kind of riding is this board best for?
It’s best for relaxed cruising, smooth carving, and easy commuting on flatter routes. If you want a board for boardwalks, campus paths, or a quick ride downtown, this style fits well.
How does the ride feel compared with a shorter cruiser?
It feels steadier and less nervous at cruising speed than a shorter board. The longer pintail platform gives more confidence when you’re leaning into turns or rolling over everyday pavement.
Would this work for carrying around campus or town?
Yes, if you want a board that’s easy to move through crowds and still comfortable over distance. At 37.75", it balances portability with enough length for a relaxed stance.
Why pick this over a drop-through board?
Choose this if you prefer a classic surfy feel and a slightly higher, more traditional stance. A drop-through sits lower and feels different, but this setup is better for smooth carving and casual cruising.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
