Globe Goodstock Fatigue Green 8.25" Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
What is this 8.25" board best for?
This 8.25" setup is best for everyday street and park skating. It gives you enough platform for confident rollaways and basic tricks without feeling too wide for regular skatepark sessions.
Is the 8.25" size a good choice for beginners?
Yes, 8.25" is a strong beginner-friendly size because it feels more stable underfoot than narrower decks. That extra width can make learning balance, kickturns, ollies, and first park laps feel less twitchy.
How does this board feel compared to a narrower skateboard?
It feels more planted and forgiving than a smaller street board, especially on landings and while building control. You give up a little quick-flip feel, but gain a steadier ride for everyday progression.
Who is this size most likely to fit well?
An 8.25" deck usually fits riders who want a versatile middle-ground size rather than an ultra-narrow setup. It is especially appealing if you are taller, have larger feet, or simply want more board under you.
How does this compare with going cheaper or building a custom setup?
This sits in a practical middle zone: more dependable than many low-cost big-box boards, but less personalized than a custom build. It makes sense if you want Globe reliability and solid everyday performance without overspending.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
