Globe Bannerstone 41" Cork Dots Drop Down Twin Dip Longboard - Key Questions Answered
What is this 41" drop-down board best for?
It is best for commuting, relaxed cruising, and learning controlled carving on smoother streets and bike lanes. The 41" drop-down twin dip shape keeps your feet lower for easier pushing, footbraking, and steady speed control.
Is this a good choice if I’m newer to longboarding?
Yes, this is a strong pick for newer riders who want a stable, confidence-building platform. The lowered standing area and long 41" wheelbase feel less twitchy than a shorter cruiser, which helps when you are learning balance and braking.
How does the Globe Bannerstone feel to ride?
It feels planted, smooth, and easy to control rather than super quick or nervous. The drop-down deck adds stability at speed, while the twin dip platform and cork top give comfortable footing for longer cruise sessions.
Is 41 inches too big for everyday use?
A 41" board is bigger than a small cruiser, but that size is what gives this model its steady, forgiving feel. It suits campus travel, neighborhood laps, and longer pushes better than riders who need something compact for tight carrying or quick errands.
How does this compare with a topmount or smaller cruiser board?
This will feel more stable and easier to push than a topmount or short cruiser because the deck sits lower to the ground. The tradeoff is less clearance and less snap for curb hops, so it makes more sense for smooth commuting and mellow downhill practice.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
