Built for smooth, confident riding, the No-Name’s 47" x 9.5" deck offers a stable platform with parallel rails for balance while you link turns and footwork. A 31" wheelbase and responsive 150mm reverse kingpin trucks set you up for tight, predictable carving that stays playful.
Hardwood construction in Sapele and Ash brings durability, while Clear Lucid Light Grip keeps your feet planted without hiding the wood. Deviate 65mm wheels (83A) and ABEC 9 bearings roll fast and smooth, and the complete weighs in at about 9.5 pounds. Good for sidewalk and street surfing, cruising, boardwalking, noseriding, and other showy tricks, and practicing longboard surf maneuvers—for adults and groms alike.

Deviate Boards
Deviate longboards are rooted in the spirit of classic surf culture and the belief that life simply feels better when you’re rolling. Every deck is handcrafted in their Brooklyn workshop with a level of care you only see from true board-builders—dialed-in wood selection, hand-shaped contours, and precision details that riders can feel under their feet. They aren’t just producing boards; they’re shaping functional art built to perform.
On a Deviate, the environment becomes your playground—whether you’re weaving through Midtown traffic or carving mellow lines through the suburbs. The ride is impossibly smooth, but it’s the feeling that makes them stand apart. It’s where New York’s gritty surf attitude meets meticulous craftsmanship, creating longboards that elevate daily rides into those rare moments of pure flow. Step on one and you instantly get it: their philosophy becomes physical—a true celebration of character, craft, and connection between rider and street.
Craftsmanship Build Process
Deviate longboard decks are built using a true vertical-lamination construction. Instead of relying on a single slab or simple ply stack, each deck begins with individual milled wood strips that are glued side-by-side to form the shaping blank. Every strip is hand-selected and arranged with intention, matching thickness, strength, and grain orientation to the final deck’s silhouette and flex profile.
This approach allows multiple wood species to be combined, not just for durability, but to harness the natural strength of the grain while creating striking, organic patterns that have become a hallmark of Deviate decks. Because no two pieces of wood are identical, the careful curation during the lamination stage ensures that every board has its own distinct visual identity.
That level of attention isn’t cosmetic — it’s structural and soulful. It’s what gives Deviate decks their signature blend of strength, beauty, and road feel the moment you roll.
Skillfull Shaping
Each board is brought to its final dimensions through a blend of precision machining and hands-on shaping. This hybrid approach preserves the natural beauty of the wood while allowing the shaper to dial in the curves, taper, and contours that give every deck its own character. Quality control isn’t a single step — it’s continuous. Throughout the shaping process, every surface, edge, and transition is inspected and refined to ensure the deck looks as good as it rides.
From the first pass of the planer to the final hand-sanded rail, nothing is rushed. The result is a longboard with a feel that’s unmistakably Deviate: responsive underfoot, visually stunning, and crafted with intention rather than mass production.
Great USA-crafted Longboards
Every board that leaves our Brooklyn workshop has been touched by real hands from start to finish — from selecting the wood to shaping the rails to the final finish. We obsess over the completed ride: how it flexes under weight, how it responds through turns, how the grain catches the light, and how the deck connects the rider to the street. Nothing ships unless it meets the standard we’re known for — smooth, responsive, durable, and soulful.
A Deviate longboard isn’t just a vehicle. It’s a fully realized expression of surf-inspired movement on land. Whether you’re carving through the city, bombing a mellow suburban path, or hanging it on the wall as functional art, the final board you hold is the proof of everything we believe in — the pursuit of craftsmanship, the celebration of natural imperfection, and the pure joy of life on four wheels.
