DB Longboards Paradigm 41" Drop Through Longboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this a good first longboard if I want something stable and easy to learn on?
Yes—its 41" platform and drop-through shape are geared toward stability and easier pushing. That makes it a solid pick if you want confidence on your first few rides without feeling like the board is twitchy.
What kind of riding does this board do best?
It’s best for cruising, carving, campus riding, and relaxed commuting. The reverse kingpin truck setup favors smooth turns over aggressive downhill control.
How does a 41-inch board feel compared with a shorter cruiser?
It feels calmer and more planted, especially on rough pavement or at moderate speed. Compared with a shorter cruiser, you get more stability and a less nervous ride.
Would this work well for daily errands or getting around a campus?
Yes, it suits stop-and-go riding where you’ll be pushing, foot braking, and covering mixed distances. The lower ride height helps keep effort down on everyday routes.
What should I expect if I want one board for casual rides, not downhill speed?
Expect an easygoing board that’s more about comfort and control than steep-hill performance. If you want smooth carving and a dependable ride for everyday use, this fits well.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
