Chocolate Anderson OG Chunk Red 7.75" Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is a 7.75" deck a good choice if I want a more technical, easy-to-flip setup?
Yes, 7.75" is a strong pick for quicker flip response and nimble control. It feels lighter underfoot than wider decks, which helps on flatground, ledges, and smaller park features.
What kind of skater is this shape best for?
It suits riders who like street skating, park lines, and faster direction changes. The narrower platform is especially appealing if you want a board that feels responsive rather than bulky.
How does the 7-ply maple construction affect the ride?
7-ply maple gives you the standard stiff, solid feel most skaters expect. That usually means dependable pop, consistent board feel, and enough durability for regular sessions.
Would this work well for a first skateboard deck?
Yes, if you want something easy to control and not too wide, it makes learning tricks feel less awkward. A 7.75" deck can be a confidence-friendly starting point for street basics and park practice.
How does it compare to an 8.0" deck if I’m deciding between the two?
Compared with an 8.0", this will usually feel quicker to flip and a bit more agile. If you value stability on bigger landings, 8.0" may suit you better; if you want sharper response, 7.75" fits well.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
