Blind Ripped 8.0" Purple Skateboard Deck - Key Questions Answered
Is an 8.0" deck a good choice if I want one board for street and park skating?
Yes—8.0" is a strong middle-ground size for both street and park. It gives enough landing room for confidence, while still feeling quick enough for flip tricks and tighter transitions.
What kind of skater is this best suited for?
It suits skaters who want a stable all-around setup without moving into a wide, heavy feel. If you skate ledges, flatground, and small ramps, it’s an easy fit.
How does the medium concave affect the ride?
Medium concave helps your feet settle in and makes pop feel more controlled. That usually translates to better catch consistency when you’re working on tricks.
Is this a good deck size for newer skaters?
Yes, 8.0" is often easier to learn on than narrower decks because it feels steadier underfoot. That extra balance can make ollies, shuvs, and kickflips feel less sketchy.
How does this compare to going smaller, like a 7.75?
Compared with 7.75", this gives you a bit more foot room and landing stability. You give up a little quickness, but gain a more forgiving feel for everyday skating.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
