Blind Girl Doll 2 Green First Push 8.0" Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this 8.0" size a good fit for a new skater?
Yes, 8.0" is a very common beginner-friendly width because it gives you a stable stance without feeling clunky. It’s a solid middle ground for learning balance, pushing, and basic turning.
What kind of riding is this board best suited for?
It fits street skating, small park lines, and learning foundational tricks like ollies and curb work. If you want one board for neighborhood cruising and sessioning local spots, this style makes sense.
How does it feel compared with a smaller or wider setup?
An 8.0" deck feels steadier than a narrower board but still quicker to steer than a wider one. That balance helps when you want control first, then more response as your skills improve.
Would this work for a commuter or casual rider?
Yes, if your goal is rolling to class, the park, or around the neighborhood, it’s a practical size. The 8.0" platform gives enough room to stand comfortably without making tight turns feel slow.
What should I expect from this if I’m comparing it to a cheap department-store board?
Expect a more controlled ride and a shape that better supports real skate progression. It’s aimed at riders who want a familiar skate feel, not just something to roll on once in a while.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
