Blind Box Out Black/Blue First Push Premium 7.62" Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this 7.62" deck a good choice for a first skateboard?
Yes, if you want a narrower board that feels easier to steer and learn on. The 7.62" width is especially approachable for teens and lighter riders building balance and basic trick control.
What kind of riding is this board best for?
It’s best for street fundamentals, park practice, and learning ollies, ramps, and basic board control. The 7-ply maple build is aimed at crisp pop and predictable response, not relaxed cruising.
How does a narrower deck like this feel underfoot?
It feels quicker and more responsive side to side, with less foot room than wider decks. That makes it feel nimble for practicing tricks, but less roomy if you like a more stable platform.
What should I expect from the feel compared with a cheaper entry-level board?
Expect a more consistent, reliable feel from the 7-ply maple construction. It should hold shape better and stay more predictable through repeated practice than softer low-cost boards.
Would this work well for someone who wants a board that’s easy to progress on?
Yes, this is a strong pick if you want a board that rewards learning basic tricks without feeling bulky. The Blind Box Out graphic deck gives you a solid middle ground between control and confidence.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
