Almost Spin Blur Blue First Push 7.625" Complete Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
What kind of rider is a 7.625-inch deck best for?
It suits riders who want a narrower, easier-to-handle board for learning control and basic tricks. That size can feel quicker to turn and less bulky underfoot, especially for lighter skaters.
Is this a good choice for someone just getting into street skating?
Yes, if you want a board that feels manageable while you learn pushing, turning, and ollies. The 7.625 width keeps the board responsive without feeling oversized for a first setup.
How does a smaller width like this feel at the park or in the driveway?
It feels more nimble and easier to flick than wider boards. That makes it useful for early park sessions, curb practice, and short neighborhood laps where quick control matters.
Would this size work well as a gift for a new skater?
Yes, it’s a practical pick when you want a board that matches common beginner needs without overthinking sizing. A 7.625 setup is especially sensible for younger or smaller riders.
How does this compare with going wider for a first board?
This is better if the buyer values easier steering and a lighter feel over extra stability. Wider decks can feel steadier later on, but 7.625 is often simpler for learning fundamentals fast.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
