Almost PB&J Strawberry First Push 7.625" Skateboard - Key Questions Answered
Is this a good size for a smaller rider or first skateboard?
Yes, the 7.625" width is easier to control for smaller riders and first-time skaters. It gives a less bulky feel underfoot, which helps with balance, turning, and early confidence.
What should I expect from the ride feel on a 7.625 board?
Expect a quicker, more responsive feel than a wider deck. The narrower shape makes it easier to initiate turns and shift feet, especially when learning basic pushing and cruising.
Would this work for driveway practice and neighborhood cruising?
Yes, it fits that kind of everyday riding well. It is sized for short trips, flat-ground practice, and relaxed sessions where learning control matters more than extra stability.
How does this compare with choosing an 8.0 skateboard?
A 7.625 feels smaller and easier to manage, while an 8.0 gives a bit more standing room. For younger or lighter riders, the narrower option usually feels less intimidating.
What kind of rider gets the most benefit from this board?
It is best for kids and smaller beginners who want a standard skateboard shape without a lot of extra width. If the goal is learning basics and building confidence fast, this size makes sense.

Skater since 1974, pool pipe and skatepark, I've ridden it all but these Carver C7 trucks were a revelation. Best for slow speed styling and generally hanging some art on mellow terrain.
Definitely a kick and worth trying.

I've never had a board I've loved this much. Made with coconut fibers and Hawaiian print cloth. I'm in love. Abec 7s are smoothe, grips great. Overall 10/10

I am loving this board so far! I reached out to LBUSA to get some help finding the right board for me. They were more than helpful and the process of getting help, ordering the board, and then delivery was flawless. I am excited with my purchase and am thrilled with the customer service along the way. Well built and super fun to skate on. Wheels work well on imperfect pavement and sidewalk cracks. Bearings are legit.

Kiddo got this board for Christmas, for us to ride on Route 66. Board is good quality. No name trucks, but they function well for her. She likes the Punked Speed Series wheels. We did put reds super bearings in it. The factory bearings do not roll near as well. For the price, for a complete, it is well worth it. This is our second Punked Longboard, and both have served their purpose. I would buy from this company, and Vendor again, without question.

Trippy assym setup with Rogue ZM1's and assorted wheels really rips for downhill! I also hope to run cones with it soon.
